Stuart Ross, DMD - Biography
Dr.
Ross is a premier Washington, DC dentist whose patient roster includes
political and business leaders as well as celebrity entertainers. For
over 20 years, Dr. Ross and his staff have been committed to providing
comfortable, effective, conservative patient care and esthetic treatment
using the using the most advanced technology available in dentistry today.
Dr. Ross is ranked by his peers as one of the top dentist in the Washington,
DC metropolitan area and was featured in the WASHINGTONIAN Magazine’s
TOP DENTISTS issue (February 2003).
Dr. Ross is also internationally recognized
as a leader in the use of advanced technology in dentistry. Dr. Ross
is the Vice President of the
International Academy of Computerized Dentistry and the Past-President
of Academy of Computerized Dentistry (United States).
Since he and his
team employ the latest dental technologies including digital x-rays,
CAD-CAM, one-visit ceramic restorations, imaging and
lasers, not only is the office quiet and relaxing with this new technology,
it enhances the comfort for the patient. The technology and focus of
the practice allow a quiet, comfortable atmosphere conserving and preserving
natural tooth structure using constantly updated minimally invasive
diagnostic and therapeutic modalities rather than traditional procedures.
Also, patients
of the Ross team can enjoy their new smile in as little as one visit
due to their mastery of newer, improved procedures, adhesives
and reconstructive technologies. Patients appreciate their ability
to provide high quality dental care with one visit convenience whenever
possible, instead of waiting weeks for new dental construction provided
by an outside lab. This one visit technology is considered a hallmark
of their talent, expertise and commitment to patient satisfaction.
Because
patient comfort is so important, they will gladly employ any appropriate
pharmacological modality to insure this end.
Their office environment
is also very different: it is quiet and relaxing. Patient comfort is
taken one step further. It is not uncommon for his
patients to be lavished with hot hand towels, a massage chair, headphones
playing a choice among a vast array of CD-music, or personal video
movie glasses for viewing a film during a long dental procedure. These
and
other nice touches are meant to provide solace from our harried, hectic
schedules as well as soothe even the most skittish dental patients.
Dr.
Ross received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from University
of Pennsylvania.
